Are Darcy and Weisbach your heroes? Ever calculated the soak time for a helium bottle immersed in a cryogenic propellant tank to optimize loading operations? Would you like to? We should talk. We need someone who can run analysis on all the different fluids systems that make a launch pad work and a rocket fly. Everything from nitrogen, to helium, to hydraulics. May also require the creation of detailed launch-ready P&ID’s in AutoCAD and/or Microsoft Visio.
Suggested Skills & Experience: B.S. Mechanical Engineering or greater (equivalent experience accepted). 2+ years experience in designing or analyzing fluids systems; both compressible and non-compressible flow. Launch or aerospace experience preferred. Curious, kind, passionate a requirement. Being fired up about fanno flow and REFPROP are also good things. U.S. citizenship required.
We’re helping design and develop launch sites on all three coasts (east, west, and best!) as a bootstrapped team. We need someone who can help us build a lean, efficient team that focuses foremost on customer success while also helping expand our opportunity in launch services, in-space hardware development

Government Sales & Relations
We need someone with experience in direct sales of hardware and services to the U.S. Government. Specifically, we are focused on building stellar relationships with NASA and the DOD for space launch support through contracting, sales, and R&D efforts.
Suggested Skills & Experience: 10+ years experience in direct government sales & relations to NASA or the DOD. Contract negotiation, strong relationship building, a mentor mindset, and stellar customer service skills are a must. U.S. citizenship required.
Launch sites, orbital refueling fittings, and ground support equipment sure do require a lot of CAD work. This position will require CAD development and analysis of launch structures, flight hardware, piping systems, and their supporting elements. Detailed shop-ready GD&T drawings must also be produced. May also require the creation of detailed launch-ready P&ID’s in AutoCAD and/or Microsoft Visio.
Suggested Skills & Experience: 2+ years experience in CAD development in industry. Startup experience and/or aerospace experience preferred. Curious, kind, passionate a requirement. Solidworks CAD, CAM, Simulation, and Flow Simulation experience preferred. AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio .
